Sing Back Louder

Thanks everyone for coming to the fashion show at Firehouse 13 last night.
To everyone who drove 5 minutes to an hour and half to be there- I have some really supportive people in my life.
I presented 12 looks which Ill post up here soon.
Some of my favorites were really well received so I couldnt be happier.

Wore a h&m button up dress with the trusty chelsea boots.
Hope you've had a lovely weekend!

Play Date

Ended up driving around the outskirts of Providence hunting for pieces of wood and metal scrap for my friends thesis project.
Turns out scavenging in the cold like a homeless man is one of my talents.

Keeping true to form- Im still playing with different monochromatic tones. Its hasnt become old yet.
What has become old are accessories. Except for this pendant- Im officially not excited about jewelry.

Off Duty

This BCBG studded belt and Gina Tricot long sleeve have become my go-to items. They have been mixed and matched so many different times.
Ive been completely enjoying that my hair is finally long enough again to pull back.
Couple new pieces added to the collection to be presented at Firehouse 13 on Saturday..the countdown..and panic sewing has already begun!

The Fashion Press has done a lovely feature about my blog- click here to read!

Sweet Disposition

Spent a lovely Friday night doing best friend things.
Wore an h&m lace blouse over a black body con dress that I always seem to choose to wear backwards. Fits better that way.
Stole this clever idea from the one and only Folu who has done a wonderful little feature of moi in her header. Sealed the deal with some chunky knit socks and Chelsea boots.

Isn't this painting enchanting? Its an evolutionary piece that Tori has been working on.

Been working on some new pieces for the January 30th show at Firehouse 13. For more information click here.  Hope to see you there! Ill post images of the new pieces after the show.

Is anyone else zipper-crazy like I am?

100th Post // Power Lines

100 posts and still going strong.
Special thanks to my papa and Kate for always being willing to head out and take some pictures.
Thanks to all my friends for unconditionally supporting my crazy ideas/endeavors.
And last but not least, thanks to the bloggers for reading and leaving such lovely comments.
This blog would be nothing without all these wonderful people.

Another fashion show in the works! January 30th at Firehouse 13 in Providence.
Ill keep you posted!

Bat Wings

The true quality of the piece does not translate well on camera. In reality it feels a lot more grungy and it doesnt sparkle. If anything it has a plastic/recycled feeling with soft stitching on the inner side.
This meets my present need for "monochormaticism" perfectly.

Lately Ive only been painting my ring fingers. All 10 nails just seems like an overkill.

Layer Cake

Layers might seemingly make things more complicated but its just the opposite. Instead your ready for any situation- as for me I had a nice afternoon exploring Newbury St. in Boston. H&M saved me from my ever growing disappointment in affordable clothing.

Special thanks to for my fourth feature! Click here to see.

212 Black Suns

There are two types of practical clothes. One type is practical because it is so basic that it just goes with everything..and the other is practical because it just works with everything.
This vest is the kind that works.
Since finishing this up Ive already managed to use it three different ways.
Seems to make the 212 leather circles worth the effort.

Everybody run now, we're going to live forever

I have developed a clear obsessions with anything leather. There is something rough, durable and yet classic about it. Maybe its the fact it just looks better the more you use it?
Now set with some leather needles- its all I want to sew.
Another leather project in the works- show you soon!
